German Credit Collections Agent Situated in Dundalk, Co Louth, Ireland since 1987 National Pen Limited is part of the National Pen Corporation whose Head Office is in San Diego, California. They are a Guaranteed Irish Company, with a work force in excess of 200. They provide business and professional people with imprinted pens, pencils and other speciality items for their office and advertising needs. Through mail order marketing of their products they have successfully attained a reputation for quality within the industry. Their business is generated by using a combination of Direct Mail Marketing and Telemarketing and their product needs are serviced by their own on-site manufacturing facility. Summary The main responsibility of the role is to maintain a ledger of high volume / low value accounts, reduce aging and document disputes. Principle Responsibilities
  • Handle high volume / low value ledger accounts to ensure DSO and collection goals are achieved.
  • Ensure daily targets and deadlines are reached i.e. number of call activities logged etc.
  • Daily customer calling using automated telephone dialing system
  • Document customer comments re: payment date / disputes etc.
  • Ensure requested paperwork / documentation is forwarded to customers.
  • Assist cash application team to ensure payments are processed onto correct customer account.
  • Report issues to line manager to resolve problem accounts.
Education and Experience
  • Previous accounts / collections (high volume/low value accounts) / credit control experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows environment and MS Office 2007.
  • Knowledge of Oracle an advantage.
  • Must have effective communication skills.
  • Verbal and written skills in German

  • Need to demonstrate good time management, and good housekeeping
  • Must demonstrate ability to work well in a team contributing to the teams goals.
