Description of the job:
A vacancy for a Material Support Order Management has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space Barajas.
You will have the opportunity to share your new ideas and knowledge in our Customer Services Material Support department.
The successful applicant should be able to work on shifts, if required.
Task & accountabilities:
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Act as single point of contact for customers for Material Support orders and deliveries.
- Obtain pricing information, preparation and provision of quotations and/or price lists to customers End to End order management for Spares & Repairs, & In Service Support.
- Follow-up and risk mitigation in the spares and repair provisioning process until delivery to Customer Management of Customer queries including returned materials and warranty claims.
- Management of all Orders (Repairs/Spares)from demand creation to customer acceptance
- Steer all Order Management related CoCs within and outside TASM
- Optimization in performance and cost of the acquired commitments
- Anticipate issues and correct actions
- Management of the AOG service
- Report Orderbook status (Spares, Repairs, IPLs)and specific issues or risks and opportunities to the Programme Rep. and SPM.
- Free Demand/ Frame Contract Management directly with SPM (Copy and maintain informed PR)
- Execute FISS Order Management according to the established rules and report to PR/SPM
- Follow-up and resolve discrepancies (Internal and from customer)
- Interface with Materiel Local team to assure E2E optimum flow
- Manage the Subcontracted CoD service
- Manage quotations according to the established rules
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering or related.
- From 2-3 years of experience in procurement, quality or logistic.
- Strong Knowledge in customer services, management and planning.
- Language Skills: Negotiation level of English and Spanish is a must.
